PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hatch cover opening/closing device that does not need a hydraulic pipe. SOLUTION: This hatch cover opening/closing device having a plurality of hatch covers 3, 4 placed in line on a deck 1, moving in the vessel outboard direction and opening/closing comprises an electric motor 5 for moving the respective hatch covers 3, 4 in the opening/closing direction, a motor power transfer mechanism 6 for transferring power of the electric motor 5 to the respective hatch covers 3, 4, a lifting device 20 pushing up and lifting the hatch covers 3, 4, and an electro-hydraulic actuator 40 for driving the lifting device 20.
