INK TANK AND INK TANK CONNECTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of certainly preventing intrusion of bubbles from the ink tank to the ink head in an ink tank connection structure provided between an ink outflow opening of an ink tank and an ink supply path. SOLUTION: A first mesh member 73 is provided in an ink outflow opening 7 of an ink tank 41. A second mesh member 84 is provided in a joint part 8 at the upstream end of a tube 51. An ink detecting means 76 is provided at the immediate downstream side of the first mesh member 73. The capillary force occurring in the second mesh member 84 is made larger than the capillary force occurring in the first mesh member 73. Thereby, the program of bubble introduction to an ink channel 81 despite presence of a sufficient amount of the ink inside an insertion pipe 74 on the immediate downstream side of the first mesh member 73 can be prevented.
