Each core is insulated by wound layers of e.g. paper. The final wrapping of each core consists of an air- and moisture-permeable tape (I) on which an alloy of pref. 40% Zn and 60% Cd has been sputtered in a coarsel crystalline form to a thickness of 1/2 to 1 microm. Tape (I) may be paper or plastics, pref. polycarbonate, polyethylene glycol terephthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene.
