<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a developer is efficiently recovered, and to provide a computer program and a computer system. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a transfer medium for transferring a developer on an image carrier to a transfer material, a 1st transfer means which can transfer the developer on the image carrier to the transfer medium, a 1st recovery means which recovers a developer left on the image carrier without being transferred by the 1st transfer means, a 2nd transfer means which can transfer the developer on the transfer medium to the transfer material, and a 2nd recovery means which recovers a developer left on the transfer medium without being transferred by the 2nd transfer means; when the amount of one of the developer in the 1st recovery means and the developer in the 2nd recovery means reaches a specified amount, control over the 1st transfer means is made different from control over the 1st transfer means before the specified amount is reached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
