PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a boiler by increasing a heat absorbing amount, while preventing the concentration of a thermal load on specified water pipes. SOLUTION: The boiler comprises a combustion chamber 1 at the center, an inside water pipe wall 2 and an outside water pipe wall 3 around the combustion chamber 1, a combustion gas passage 6 between the water pipe walls, combustion opening portions 7 at the upper or lower part of an inside fin 4 of the inside water pipe wall 2, and flue opening portions 8 at the upper or lower part of an outside fin 5 of the outside water pipe wall 3. The combustion chamber opening portions 7 and the flue opening portions B are arranged each in plural at places approximately opposite to the direction of the diameter with the combustion chamber 1 as a center. When the combustion chamber opening portions 8 are provided at the lower part of the inside fin 4, the flue opening portions 8 are provided at the upper part of the outside fin 5, and when the combustion chamber opening portions 8 are provided at the upper part of the inside fin 4, the flue opening portions 8 are provided at the lower part of the outside fin 5.
