<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for taking countermeasures against a fear of opening for a door, which dispenses with additional production costs, and alleviates a burden of complicated operation on the operator. <P>SOLUTION: According to the system for taking countermeasures against a fear of opening for the door, a transverse latch bolt (3) housed therein is operated by an actuator assembly (10) means which is formed of first and second movable operating members (19, 20) assuming a first position and a second position, respectively. In the first position, the spring latch (3) is protruded from one side of a cover case (9).
