PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily execute appearance inspection of side faces of parts, which are continuously conveyed, with a reduced space. SOLUTION: An appearance inspection device for parts is provided with imaging means 3a-3d for imaging parts disposed on a conveyor path for columnar parts 1, and is used for executing appearance inspection of the parts 1 on the basis of images of the parts imaged while the parts 1 are being conveyed. A guide 2 is provided on an aligning conveyor path formed on a vibration parts feeder 5, and the guide 2 rotates the parts 1 about a longitudinal axis in alignment with a conveyance direction while the center of gravity of the parts 1 is moved linearly during conveyance.
