PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce toque ripple without having to adopt a skew structure, keeping large rotational torque. SOLUTION: A rotor yoke 36 is provided with an auxiliary pole 42 which projects toward the stator side and has a roughly fixed width, and a pair of projections 44a and 44b which project in the circumferential direction of that rotor yoke 136 are made at one end of the auxiliary pole 42, and the ratio M:R:T among the width M of the permanent magnet 40, the width R of the auxiliary pole 42, and the interval T between the projections 44a and 44b in a pair is set to 7:2:3.
