PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a heat accumulation device capable of stabilizing the saturated vapor supplying pressure to the load side. SOLUTION: The water supply quantity to a heat accumulating chamber per unit time is increased and decreased based on the internal pressure of a sealed tank. That is, a first P<SB>1</SB>and second pressure set value P<SB>2</SB>are set previously, and a first Q<SB>1</SB>and second water supply quantity Q<SB>2</SB>are set previously as corresponding to the pressure set values P<SB>1</SB>and P<SB>2</SB>. The water supply quantities Q<SB>1</SB>and Q<SB>2</SB>are changed over by reference to the pressure set values P<SB>1</SB>and P<SB>2</SB>, respectively. In case the internal pressure of the sealed tank is low (below the first pressure set value P<SB>1</SB>), the water supply to the heat accumulating chamber is increased to the first water supply quantity Q<SB>1</SB>. In the opposite case (no less than P<SB>1</SB>but below the saturated vapor supplying pressure P<SB>0</SB>), the water supply to the chamber is decreased to the second water supply quantity Q<SB>2</SB>.
