PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallized film capacitor which can be further reduced in size. SOLUTION: The metallized film capacitor includes a pair of metallicon electrodes 7 and 7 which are disposed face to face to each other. Metallized films 3 each having evaporated metal 2 connected to one of the electrodes 7 and evaporated metal 2 connected to the other electrode 7 are stacked via dielectric films 4 with no evaporation of the metal 2. Each of the metallized films 3 has the metal 2 evaporated over the entire surface of one face of the dielectric film 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
