PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil which can be assembled without using a jig for special use for assembly and, at the same time, can be reduced in cost, and which has no variation in quality due to the accuracy of a jig and therefore can be improved in quality. SOLUTION: The choke coil comprises a pot core 11 made of a magnetic material which has a bottom face 12, and a wall 13 which is integrally formed around the bottom face 12; an air-core coil 15 which has terminals 19a and 19b and has a winding stored in the pot core 11, with the terminals being engaged with the wall 13 of the pot core 11; and a magnetic filler 21 which is made of an epoxy-based resin material mixed with magnetic powder, and which is put into the pot core 11 to embed the air-core coil 15 in the pot core 11.
