PURPOSE: A worm gear composed of a worm wheel with roller teeth is provided to reduce power loss, and to improve endurance by relieving friction between the worm and the roller teeth with converting slip between roller teeth into rolling. CONSTITUTION: A roller teeth(5) are mounted at the side of a worm wheel(2) of a worm instead of a normal worm wheel gear tooth. The roller teeth are formed along the circumference having the radius of rotation around a rotating shaft of the worm wheel. Bearing rotating shafts(6) are fastened at the side of the worm wheel and arranged at the same interval as the pitch of the worm. A roller(8) is installed in the bearing rotating shaft, and composed of an inclined surface embedding a bearing. Slip is prevented by equalizing the travel speed on the tooth surface of the worm to the travel speed on the inclined surface of the roller in rotating the worm.
