The invention comprises extruded glass-loaded polycarbonate strip or sheet for use as an electrical insulating material. The material can be extruded by a method and apparatus in which particulate glassloaded polycarbonate material is firstly preheated and then extruded through an extruder. The material is passed through a die head to extrude a concave faced which passes through sizing rollers, over a cooling table and through take-off rollers to a take-up means such as a reel. |
