The invention especially relates to novel sequences involved in the molecular pathways of tumour suppression, tumour reversion, apoptosis and/or resistance to viruses. The invention also relates to the use of said sequences for treating cancer, viral diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases, for diagnostic purposes and for carrying out methods for screening compounds to be tested. The invention further relates to methods for detecting and/or for dosing the inventive sequences or the expression products thereof in a biological sample.
