The invention relates to an actuating device (6) for a shift disengaging clutch (1), consisting of a controller (7a). In order to drive the controller (7a), a toothed wheel (13) engages in a positive fit with gear teeth of a pinion (14) which is connected to the electric motor (15). The controller (7a) translates the rotational movement of the toothed wheel (13) into a linear movement for actuating the shift disengaging clutch (1). The controller forming a modular unit comprises the linear drive unit, a guide bushing (8), a disengaging bearing (21) and, at least partially, the gear mechanism.
