Luminescent flexographic printing ink for printing control markings

A non-opaque luminescent flexographic printing ink (I) comprises a solvent, a polymeric binder, optionally other additives, and includes a combination of a light-scattering pigment and an optical brightener. Independent claims are also included for: (1) use of the ink (I) for printing guide marks and barcodes; and (2) a process for producing panels comprising: (a) producing a decorative paper with guide marks printed using (I); (b) processing the decorative paper with impregnating resins to produce wood laminates; and (c) sawing the laminates into panels using a saw equipped with luminescence detectors generating signals for controlling the saw table to guide the saw cut.
