摘要 PURPOSE: A thin film transistor array substrate, a vertically aligned liquid crystal display including the TFT array substrate, and a color filter substrate used for the liquid crystal display are provided to reduce color shift between gray scales, thereby improving picture quality of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes the first insulating substrate(100), red, green and blue filters(310,320,330) formed on pixel regions of the first insulating substrate, a common electrode(400) having the first opening pattern(410), and the second insulating substrate(10) facing the first insulating substrate. The liquid crystal display further includes the first conductive line(70) formed on the second insulating substrate, the second conductive line intersecting the first conductive line to define the pixel regions, and a thin film transistor electrically connected to the first and second conductive lines and a pixel electrode(91). The liquid crystal display also has a protection film(80), the pixel electrode formed on the protection film, and a liquid crystal layer(900) formed between the first and second insulating substrates. The protection film is made out of organic material and covers the first and second conductive lines and thin film transistor.
