<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method for producing a recording in which discoloring/fading of a recorded image due to aging does not take place substantially even after long term preservation and color balance of the image is sustained, and to provide the recording. <P>SOLUTION: An image having an optical density higher than a target level is recorded on a recording medium which is then subjected to aging through irradiation with light and/or oxidation, so that the optical density of the image is lowered closely to the target level thus bringing about a state where lowering of the optical density of the image due to external environment does not substantially progress any more. When the recording medium is recorded and aged in such a manner, discoloring/fading of a recorded image due to aging does not take place substantially even after long term preservation and a high quality image conditions can be kept while sustaining. the color balance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
