PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ply separation double-coated tape which is separated at a core layer and the separated surface of which is tack-free. SOLUTION: This ply separation double-coated tape comprises the core layer consisting of at least two layers formed from same or different materials and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on both sides of the core layer. The core layer has a ply separation interface between the two layers. The separation force between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and an adherend is larger than that at the ply separation interface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
