PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid filter apparatus capable of automating liquid filtering operation to efficiently perform the same. SOLUTION: The first member 15, on which a container 8 with a filter being a microtiter plate wherein a filter part is provided on the bottom part of a well is placed, is lowered with respect to the second member 11 having a recovery container 9 mounted therein. A hermetically closed space 3a is formed by the first and second members 15 and 11 and the container 8 with the filter. At the time of filtering operation of a liquid, the nozzle 18 of a dispensing head 17 is lowered to supply a treated liquid 6 into the well of the container 8 with the filter and the hermetically closed space 3a is sucked under vacuum by the suction part 43 to suck the treated liquid in the well from the filter part to drip a liquid component to the recovery container 9.
