<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating instrument which enables a coating liquid to be smoothly discharged from a tip end at initial writing. <P>SOLUTION: The coating instrument comprises a barrel 10 arranged so that a tip 20, holding a spherical coater 41 with free rotation, is closely inserted into the center hole of the tip end and a piercing tube 30 interconnects to the center hole of the tip end, a cartridge 40 filled with the coating liquid with the tip end opening being sealed by a plug 42 and a tail plug 50 closely inserted into the tail opening of the barrel. When a user pushes the tail plug to the designated position at the tail opening of the barrel, the plug of the cartridge arranged in the axial tube with the piercing tube moves back and the sealing of the tip end is released, thereby the coating liquid in the cartridge is fed to the tip end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
