MAGNETIC CARRIER BONDABLE TO PROTEIN, AND METHOD FOR PURIFYING PROTEIN BY UTILIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for purifying a protein which is very easy compared to a conventional method, which can be automated and by which throughput can be enhanced, and to provide a material therefor.

SOLUTION: The magnetic carrier comprises a ferromagnetic oxide particle and a saccharide layer covering the ferromagnetic oxide particle. The method for purifying the protein using the carrier, and a reagent kit for purifying the protein are also provided.
