EASILY TEARABLE FILM EXCELLENT IN GAS BARRIER PROPERTIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily tearable film excellent in transparency and gas barrier properties suitably utilizable as a packing material, especially a food packaging material. SOLUTION: The easily tearable film excellent in gas barrier properties is constituted by forming a vapor deposition thin film layer comprising an inorganic oxide on at least one surface of a laminated biaxially stretched polyester film which has at least one amorphous polyester resin layer and at least one crystalline polyester resin layer and characterized in that the thickness of the amorphous polyester resin layer is 20-95% with respect to the total thickness of the laminated film and the edge tear resistance thereof is 5-70 N.
