PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing accuracy of peripheral faces of both of a glass lens and a plastic lens without requiring design data of a lens to be finish- processed in advance. SOLUTION: This lens processing method comprises a step (S3) for holding a processed lens; a step (S7) for roughly processing the held processed lens based on a lens rim shape data of a spectacle frame or a shape data adaptable to a spectacle so as to obtain the rough processed lens; a step (S8) for measuring the shape of the obtained rough processed lens in a holding condition so as to obtain the shape data of the rough processed lens; and a step (S9) for finish processing the rough processed lens into a shape adapted to the lens rim of the spectacle frame or a shape adaptable to the spectacle under a holding condition based on the obtained shape data.
