PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of easily setting the rolled paper, and a rolled paper-included packing member accommodating the rolled paper and set in the recording device. SOLUTION: This recording device comprising a feeding paper 2 for feeding a recorded material of the rolled paper 30 obtained by taking up the recorded material onto a roll shaft 31 in the roll shape to a downstream side, a recording part 3 for performing the recording onto the fed recorded material, and a discharge part 4 for discharging the recorded material after recording, further comprises a set part 5 capable of demountably setting the rolled paper-included packing member 10 wherein the rolled paper 30 is accommodated in the packing part 9, and the feeding part 2 can feed the recorded material P from the rolled paper-included packing member 10 in a state of being set on the set part 5.
