PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for an insecticide with a hanger made of a plastic which does not drop even when it is brought into contact with a human body and clothes in the case of taking the clothes out and when the hanger is used by hooking and hanging the hanger on a hanger pipe. SOLUTION: This container comprises a sideways container main body 100 with a hanger 11 for hooking the hanger pipe 20 on an upper side wall 130 face and with chemicals evaporating holes 111 and 211 on a peripheral wall and a sideways lid 200 which can be fitted to an opening part of this container main body. The hanger comprises a hooking part 131 standing on the opening part side of the outer face of the upper side wall of the container main body and with a curved hooking part 131 to the opening part side, and a closing part 231 standing at a position opposite the hooking part on the opening part side on the outer face of the upper side wall of the lid, and a gap d between the apex of the hooking part of the container main body and the apex of the closing part of the lid is made narrower than the outer diameter r of the hanger pipe.
