PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-bulk-density detergent being excellent in flowing properties and storage stability such as caking resistance. SOLUTION: This method comprises exposing base particles of the high-bulk- density detergent to an atmosphere having a humidity above the equilibrium relative humidity of the base particles for at least 30 min while the relative positions of the particles are changed to increase their moisture content and packing them into a packaging container.
