PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a PC card for extending a communication function or the like to be used while minimizing an influence upon the appearance and the operability of an imaging unit and securing the sureness of photographing and recording. SOLUTION: The imaging unit has: a PC card slot 4 for freely detachably accepting a radio communication card 7 (Figure 4) provided with an antenna 7a; and a slot cover 5 for covering almost all the radio communication card 7 when loading the radio communication card 7 to the PC card slot 4.
