PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert providing information to be provided to a facsimile receiver into image data for facsimile and to transmit the image data by facsimile. SOLUTION: A facsimile system for transmitting providing information to a facsimile receiver 64 is provided with a providing information database for associating the providing information with a transmission destination for storage, a converting part for converting the providing information stored in the providing information database into image data in each transmission destination, a facsimile transmitting part for transmitting the image data converted by the converting part to the facsimile receiver 64 of a corresponding transmission destination, and an error information transmitting part for transmitting error information showing to the effect that the facsimile receiver has not received the image data transmitted by the facsimile transmitting part to a predetermined transmission destination 52 in charge when the facsimile receiver has not received the image data.
