PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a frequency transformer of a wide frequency range without using a band-pass filter. SOLUTION: With respect to the frequency transformer, an output of a first exclusive OR and an output of a fourth exclusive OR are connected to an input of an adder. An output of a third exclusive OR is connected to an input of a value subjected to substrate of a subtracter, and a sine wave of phaseαis inputted to one input of the first and the second exclusive OR circuits. A sine wave of phaseθis inputted to the other input of the first exclusive OR. A cosine wave of phaseθis inputted to the other input of the second exclusive OR circuit. A cosine wave of phaseαis inputted to one input of the third and the fourth exclusive OR circuits. A sine wave of phaseθis inputted to the other input of the third exclusive OR circuit. A cosine wave of phaseθis inputted to the other input of the fourth exclusive OR circuit. A cosine (α-θ) value is outputted from the adder and -sine (α-θ) value is outputted from the subtracter.
