摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing reduction iron for steel production process is provided for reusing waste of iron mills to protect surrounding environment and expecting the improvement of steel production efficiency by utilizing hot rolling oil sludge, cokes dust and furnace slag as waste materials. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing reduction iron to increase steel production efficiency and reuse waste of the environmentally friend iron mills comprises a first step to dry oil containing sludge generated from hot rolling mills; a second step to form (or mold) a desired shape of product by combining 83.5-87.5 wt.% of the dried oil sludge and 4.5-8.5 wt.% of cokes dust and 8 wt.% of aqueous binder; a third step to cool the product after carrying out reduction of the formed product under nitrogen atmosphere at more than 1100 deg.C.</p>
