<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency flashlight of stable high output which can be charged by humans. <P>SOLUTION: The flashlight incorporates a mechanism for manually generating an energy. There are provided a magnet which provides a magnetic field, a main housing, and a support system frame which comprises first and second ends that support translation of the magnet toward the first and second ends of a support system. There are provided a capacitor for holding an electric charge, a light-emitting diode, and a circuit connected to the capacitor, the light-emitting diode, and a magnet wire. The circuit converts the supply energy of the magnet wire into the electric charge preserved in the capacitor, and to supply an electric power to the light-emitting diode, supplies the electric charge preserved in the capacitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
