<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection system among terminals, enabling two-way communication among terminals in the form of either 1 to N or N to N, not limited to communication between terminals in 1 to 1, through a network by means of TCP/IP communication. <P>SOLUTION: A user terminal unit 10 acquires a global IP address assigned by providers (communication service providers) a to d, and at the same time, is connected to a provider g through the network by use of the TCP/IP communication means, to request connection to terminal unit 15. The provider g sends connection request information to the destination terminal unit 15 to which the connection is requested, by use of a private IP address. By connecting to the provider e of the terminal unit 15a, the destination terminal unit 15a receives an assigned global IP address.
