PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of a biological information pattern such as a fingerprint image and a facial image with high quality. SOLUTION: Energizing to a CCD camera is started in accordance with an input start operation (ten key operation (1)) of an identification number, and energizing to a light source is then started in accordance with an input completion operation (ten key operation (#1)) of the identification number.
