PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence device that has suppressed the effect by reaction gas of the adhesive and the effect of moisture and oxygen permeating through the adhesive and, thereby realizes a long life of the electroluminescence element, and by making thin the sealing member, can make the electroluminescence device thin, and its manufacturing method and, an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: This is an electroluminescence device 1 that has a substrate 2 on one face of which electroluminescence element 3 is formed and a sealing member 5 which is adhered to the substrate 2 through an adhesive 4 that is provided so as to surround the electroluminescence element 3. A level difference part 8 is formed on the jointing face with the adhesive 4 of the sealing member 5, and this level difference part 8 is made tall on the inner side of the adhesive 4 and low on the outside of this.
