PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the transmission quality by reducing overlooking errors while reducing a processing delay time. SOLUTION: A turbo decoder 610 receives a coding sequence x, a coding sequence y1, and a coding sequence y2 and outputs a decoding result. Further, the turbo decoder 610 repetitively decodes the sequences according to a control signal outputted from a decoding control section 630. An error check unit 620 receives a decoding result and checks an error for each transport block. The decoding control section 630 discriminates whether or not decoding is repetitively made on the basis of the result of check and the number of the transport block. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
