PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat dissipation of a hard disk, and effectively prevent a flat cable from being caught by an insertion hole when a hard disk assembly is inserted into a predetermined instrument through a predetermined insertion hole. SOLUTION: A plurality of elongated holes 30 are arranged in a hard disk substrate 5 at a proper distance side by side. A hard disk 6 is mounted on the hard disk substrate 5 in which the elongated holes 30 are formed, and a flat cable 10 for connecting the hard disk 6 and the substrate 5 extends on at least one of the elongated hole 30.
