PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the crew of a moving vehicle with effective information at all times. SOLUTION: An information providing system for a vehicle is provided with an on-vehicle information terminal 2 for inputting the information providing request of a vehicle crew and providing the vehicle crew with various kinds of information and an agent server 5 for generating a program (agent 9) for performing an information collection processing corresponding to the information providing request of the vehicle crew by moving on an information network, and the information collected by the agent 9 is provided for the vehicle crew through the on-vehicle information terminal 2.
