PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution server device, terminal equipment and program therefor for extracting update data constituted of the quality and quantity of update information suitable for the traveling condition and action range of a user in accordance with traveling frequency information generated on the basis of the traveling condition and action range of a vehicle used by the user. SOLUTION: This information distribution server device for transmitting map information to the terminal equipment is provided with a base data update means 1b for updating a map information DB in which map information is preliminarily stored, an update information DB 1g in which the update data of the update part is stored as update identification information, update district information, and district frequency information, a roughness/fineness level calculating means 1e for calculating the roughness/fineness level on the basis of traveling frequency information included in distribution request information from the terminal equipment, a retrieval processing means 1f for reading the update data corresponding to the calculated roughness/fineness level from the update information DB, and a transmitting/receiving means 1c for transmitting the retrieval result to the terminal equipment being the origin of the request.
