PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant-voltage circuit for supplying a stable reference voltage and a differential amplifier with improved amplification characteristics. SOLUTION: The apparatus according to this invention is equipped with a resistor R41 of which one end is connected to a power supply Vcc, an amplifying stage comprising a transistor M42 of which the source terminal is grounded and the drain terminal is connected to the other end of the resistor R41, a diode D41 of which the cathode terminal is connected to an output terminal V2, a transistor M41 of which the source terminal is connected to the anode terminal of the diode 41 and the drain terminal is connected to the power supply Vcc, and a buffering stage comprising a transistor M43 of which the source terminal is grounded and the drain terminal is connected to the output terminal. The apparatus has a construction in which the gate terminal of the transistor M42 is connected to the output terminal V2 and the gate terminal of the transistor M41 is connected to the drain terminal of the transistor M42 and the gate terminal of the transistor M43 is fixedly biased.
