摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum combined image by determining synthesized image data in accordance with transmittance in synthesizing the image while reducing a circuit configuration needed for synthesizing and processing. SOLUTION: MFP (multifunction peripherals) peripheral equipment is provided with a rectangular image data processing part for performing image synthesizing and processing that receives a plurality of pieces of rectangular image data divided into a prescribed rectangular image unit to synthesize one piece of rectangular image data and outputting the synthesized rectangular image data, and an image data dividing and assembling part for receiving image data from an image data storage part, outputting a plurality of pieces of the image data to the rectangular image data processing part in a rectangular image unit, receiving outputs from rectangular image processing in the rectangular image unit and assembling the outputs into one piece of image data. The image data dividing and assembling part generates and outputs image area attribute data indicating pixel attributes and rectangular image data embedded with transmittance information to be used in image synthesis. The rectangular image data processing part generates combined rectangular image data in accordance with the transmittance information in the rectangular image data to be processed and the image area attribute data.
