PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body superior in sensitivity and durability by incorporating a specified bisazo pigment in an electrostatic charge generating layer and a specified hydrazone compd. in a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer agent contained in a charge transfer layer is a compd. represented by formula I in which A is a coupler residue and, preferably, one of groups represented by formulae II-V; B is H, halogen, alkyl, or alkoxy; n is 1-4; X is an atomic group necessary to condense with a benzene ring to form naphthalene, anthracene, carbazole, or the like ring; Y is -CON(R5, R6); R5 is H, optionally substd. alkyl or aryl; R6 is optionally substd. alkyl or aryl; and Z1, Z2 are each optionally substd. alkyl or aryl. A laminated electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by laminating on a conductive substrate, said charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer contg. one of compds. represented by formula VII in which R1, R2 are each optionally substd. alkyl or aralkyl or phenyl, or a residue necessary to form a 5- - 6-membered ring together with N; R3, R4 are each optionally substd. alkyl or aralkyl or aryl; and Ar1, Ar2 are optionally substd. arylene. As a result, sensitivity and durability are enhanced. |
