PURPOSE: Provided is a method of manufacturing trefoiled polyester fiber which involves fluent absorption and discharge of the moisture content and the sweat by varying the sectional profile in a controlled manner. CONSTITUTION: The method of manufacturing a trefoiled polyester fiber comprises the steps of: melt-spinning a polyester chip with a viscosity of 0.60-0.90 using a trefoiled spinneret where the length ratio of A to a in the width thereof is determined to be 0.5-2.0, the length ratio of A to b to be 1.0-4.0 and the length ratio of B to b to be 0.5-2.0; cooling the resulting filaments using a cooler; and drawing the cooled filaments through first and second godet rollers. |
