<p>The drive unit (4) of a beaming device with a warp beam (40) is controlled by a control unit (4') which generates control signals for driving the warping drum (2) for the warping of individual warp sections and for the common beaming of all the warp sections onto the warp beam (40), for crawling speed during the beaming phase and for stopping the machine. A signal generator (51) serves for keying a signal corresponding to a yarn break occurring into a computer (50) which, in response to this signal, records the instantaneous warp-yarn length and the warp-section number or position in the form of a signal generated by switching means and by a preset warp-section number indicator (53), which computer (50) further sorts the recorded yarn breaks in a sequence corresponding to the beaming operation and, moreover, via a comparator stage (56), compares the length signals corresponding to the sorted yarn-break points with the signals of the switching means (52, 54) determining the warp-yarn length, an identity signal fed to the control unit (4') from the comparator stage (56) causing at least one control signal which influences the drive unit (4) of the warping drum (2) in order to eliminate the yarn break. <IMAGE></p> |
