The caliper gauge has an elongated rail (10) with length calibrations in cm and mm. Short and long jaws (14,16) are monolithically formed on one end of the rail. A cursor (12) slides along the rail, is calibrated with a vernier and has short and long (18,20) jaws. The short jaws are adapted for external measurements and the long jaws for internal measurements. A stop (48) prevents the cursor from sliding off the end of the rail.
