A rail breaking and manipulating attachment for a backhoe, the bucket of which has an elongated substantially hookshaped movable breaking blade pivoted in spaced relation to a rail breaker, a mounting body and means for attaching the same to the boom of the backhoe, said means for keeping said movable breaking blade in spaced relation to said rail breaker having spaced parallel guides defining an elongated guide path for a portion of said movable breaking blade.
