The invention provides organic silicone copolymers based on a) from 30 to 99% by weight of a vinylaromatic, (meth)acrylic ester, vinyl ester, olefin, diene, and/or vinyl halide monomer, and b) from 1 to 70% by weight of a mixture of at least two diorganopolysiloxanes having the general formula R<superscript>1><highlight>a</highlight>R<subscript>3-a</highlight>SiO(SiR<subscript>2</highlight>O)<subscript>n</highlight>SiR<subscript>3-a</highlight>R<superscript>1><highlight>a</highlight>, in which each R denotes a monovalent, optionally substituted, C<subscript>1-18 </highlight>alkyl or C<subscript>1-18 </highlight>alkoxy radical, R<superscript>1 >denotes a polymerizable group, a is 0 or 1, at least one a being 1, and n is an integer, where b1) from 5 to 65 % by weight of the silicone component b) is a diorganopolysiloxane with n<=30 and only one terminal polymerizable group R<superscript>1>, and b2) from 35 to 95 % by weight of the silicone component b) is a diorganopolysiloxane with n>=55 and with one or two terminal polymerizable groups R<superscript>1>.
