This invention provides an agent for the prevention or treatment of allergosis and a medical aqueous agent, an ophthalmic solution and a nasal drop for allergosis. The agents contain the nitroimidazole compound represented by the following formula (1) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, <CHEM> wherein R<1> and R<2> are selected independently from a straight or branched lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted, and "n" is an integer from 1 to 4.
