<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prohibit driving when a vehicle insurance is not applied to driving by a third person other than an owner of a vehicle in regard to a driving permission system. <P>SOLUTION: The driving permission system 9 comprises a vehicular control part 2 controlling starting of an engine 3, and a driving permission device 1. The driving permission device 1 is provided with a storing means 14 for storing terms of the vehicle insurance, a reading means 12 for reading driver information of a driver stored in an IC license 4, a comparing means 13 for comparing the driver information and the terms of the insurance, and an operating means 13 for operating the vehicular control part 2. When the driver information satisfies the terms of the insurance, the operating means 13 operates the vehicular control part 2 so that the engine 3 can be started. When the driver information does not satisfy the terms of the insurance, the operating means 13 operates the vehicular control part 2 so that the engine 3 can not be started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
