PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera flash allowing a photographer to direct a flash to a portion of a subject by controlling both a direction and collimation. SOLUTION: The flash 400 includes a flash body 402, a lens 410, a means 412 for moving the lens 410, a strobe tube 404, a reflector 406 and a means 408 for moving the reflector 406. The condensing state and the irradiating direction of light emitted by the strobe tube 404 are changed in accordance with setting by the photographer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
